Absence Types & Reasons
To view and manage absence types and reasons, go to System Tools > Lookup Tables > Absence.
Create an Absence Type
An Absence Type is the category of absence you select when creating an absence record, such as Holiday or Sickness. It determines whether the absence impacts any balances and whether employees can request it themselves.
Select the Absence Type, then select the Absence Reason.
You can only delete Absence Types if there are no absence records using this Absence Type.
