How to Approve or Decline a Holiday Request

  1. In the Notifications section of your Home page, select Pending Requests.

  2. Select the request you want to approve or decline.

  3. On the Absence screen:

    • Check the request details

    • To add a message to the employee, type it in the Comments box

    • Click Approve Request or Decline Request to send an email notification to the employee

You can also approve or decline absence requests from the email notification you receive when employees request an absence. Select the appropriate response at the bottom of the email.

  1. Use the Group Absence calendar to check whether other team members are absent on the same date(s):

    1. From your Home page, select Actions then Group Absence.

    2. From Absence, select View Group.
